London Parks Half Marathon - Done!

On a great day for running, not too cold and not too hot my wife Alison and two of our best friends completed the London Parks Half.  I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone.  The preparation may seem long and at times can feel tedious but I can honestly say you always feel better after a run!   The route was excellent and the first 5 miles just flew my without even realising it as we went through Wellington arch, by Buckingham Palace, around parliament square, Westminster abbey, the Cenotaph, along the strand, Trafalgar square and back down the Mall before going back into Hyde park for the rest of the run.  We are blessed the Victorians realised how important green spaces and parks are for our health and existence.

Thank you to friends, family, staff at the Rainham Osteopathic Clinc and many generous patients who kindly donated to Taylor Made Dreams and we have raised over £900, a wonderful effort.  If you want any more advice about running, training, stretching, just let me know, and many thanks again.
